Operations Specialist
Responsibilities:
· Manage and oversee Homeport's existing and new apartment inventory, by maintaining and building relationships with vendors and property contacts.
· Conduct thorough inspections, meet and greets with customers, coordinate move-ins & move-outs.
· Local travel may be required to inspect apartments. Candidate must have a reliable vehicle and willing to drive to various locations.
· Utilize Homeport’s internal software to keep accurate and detailed records of costs, charges, and other accounting-related data on all customer stays managed.
· Develop detailed timelines for each apartment, including important deadlines such as vacate notices, housekeeping, utilities cancellations, etc.
· Proactively respond to customer service requests with a sense of urgency. In cases of emergencies, willing to be available off hours or weekends via phone for emergency customer issues or late arrivals.
· Assist with client tours in-person when needed.
· Attend industry events as applicable.
Skills Required:
· Ability to work in a very fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment and collaborate effectively as a team member.
· Extremely organized and detail oriented.
· Tech-savvy, ability to learn new technology.
· Demonstrated experience with accurate recordkeeping and data entry.
· Ability to handle multiple demands and deadlines at once.
· Ability to effectively plan and manage one’s own day, when multiple priorities are on the table.
· Ability to effectively balance both administrative (computer-based) work and field responsibilities.
· Responsive with a sense of urgency.
· Strong ability to remain focused and diligent if working remotely.
· A positive, professional, kind and empathetic attitude that is customer-centric.
· Articulate and effective communicator.
· Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
· Experience in any of the areas including corporate housing, hospitality, property management, relocation, customer service, global mobility, human resources, corporate, or real estate preferred.
