Following a 15 year career in Human Resources and running a global relocation department for a Fortune 500 company, Kate Skelly, Founder & CEO, is in the business of helping others. Kate continued her passion for business and customer service by launching Homeport Stays.

Joe Skelly, CFO
Joe is a CPA and joined Homeport after a career in public accounting at two of the Big 5 firms and most recently running large finance organizations at a fortune 100 company in Boston. Joe is based in Boston, MA. He is passionate about his family and enjoys playing the drums or spending time on the golf course or beach.
Derek Costa, VP, Account Management
Derek joined Homeport Stays after 25 years in Real Estate Investment & Development, specifically in property management ops and corporate housing. Derek takes pride and enjoys working closely with guests to make sure their temporary home is perfect and their stay is comfortable and stress-free. Derek is based in Boston, MA. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 kids, golf, and hiking with his two dogs
Mike Lipari, Sr. Manager, Operations
Mike brings 7 years of experience in management and training for restaurant startups. He has spent his career in the hospitality industry honing process improvement and creating memorable experiences for guests. Mike is exceptionally passionate about customer service and lives by going above & beyond for Homeport clients. Mike is based in Boston, MA. He loves to play the guitar and spend time at the beach whenever possible.
Karen Manzella, Sr. Project Manager
Karen brings over 11 years experience in process, HR and vendor relations from her past work at a research lab at Harvard Medical School to Homeport Stays. Karen assists with many of the behind-the-scenes work that is highly critical to managing our corporate apartment inventory. She has a great eye for detail and ensures quality assurance across our portfolio.

Jessica Vinson, Business Development Specialist
With a corporate housing and marketing background, Jessica is passionate about business development and delivering top-tier client experiences. She is passionate about delivering exceptional service and tailored solutions.

Jon Turner, Operations Specialist
Jon brings extensive experience in short-term vacation rentals from his time in Hawaii, hospitality, and real estate sales. With a strong background in operations management, client relations, and property oversight, he ensures both owners and guests receive exceptional service. As a licensed Realtor, he combines his hospitality expertise with real estate knowledge to provide professional support and trusted guidance throughout every stage of the client experience. Jon is based in Boston, MA. In his free time, he loves to explore the outdoors with his dog.
Mark Hobson, Director, Business Development
Mark joined Homeport having extensive experience across hospitality, technology, and real estate. Mark's commitment to understanding our clients' objectives and his proactive approach to strategic planning enable him to deliver tailored solutions for our clients while ensuring a seamless and high-value experience. Mark lives in Michigan with his wife, 2 kids, and dog. Outside of work, he enjoys sports, running, hiking, and being by the water.
